Annulment or Rescission

One contract, two ways it can fall away. On the left, a vice of will opens a power to challenge and, once exercised, annulment. On the right, impossibility or non-performance opens a power to rescind. Either completed path activates the duty to restore the pre-contract state. The page does not choose a preferred route.
